Can I search within PDFs in EndNote 21?

Yes, you can search PDF content, as well as search any notes or annotations that you have added.
In the search bar at the top of your EndNote Library window, select the drop-down box containing ‘Author’. You can select from a number of fields to search, including ‘PDF’, ‘PDF notes’ and ‘Any field + PDF notes’. Then, enter your search in the search bar and click ‘Search’.
