Can I renew an inter-library loan?

You can renew an inter-library loan up to 2 times by contacting us. You can’t renew inter-library loans online or at the kiosks.
Please request your renewal via email to library-docsupply@newman.ac.uk at least 3 working days before the due date. You should still return your book on the due date if we have yet to hear back from the lending library - we may be able to reissue the loan at the Service Desk.
It can take time to arrange a renewal, and we can’t guarantee that the lending library will renew the item. To avoid fines for overdue items, please make sure you give us plenty of time to arrange renewals.
Failure to return your inter-library loan will result in a £3 fine per day overdue, up to a maximum of £50. You will not be able to borrow other items whilst these bills are outstanding.
We cannot request the same interlibrary loan item for a student repeatedly. Please make good use of your loan within your borrowing period.
