Do computers in the Library have Microsoft Teams installed?
Answer
All desktop computers in the Library should have Teams software installed. You can also join a Teams meeting using an Internet browser by logging into office.com.
- the desktop computers in the Library do not have cameras or microphones: you will be able to watch and listen to a Teams session, but will only able to participate using the text chat function
- microphones that are integrated into headphones/headsets (such as those that usually come with mobile phones) do not work on the desktop computers in the Library
If a library laptop is available for you to borrow, these have in-built webcams and microphones, so you will be able to take part fully.
If you want to use Teams, please use Level 1 of the Library and bring and use your own headphones.
