How accessible is the library?

Answer

There is step-free access to all parts of the library. We have a lift that goes to each of the three floors, and the rows of shelves are widely spaced to allow students and staff who use wheelchairs and mobility scooters to browse.

There are height-adjustable desks and accessible toilets on each floor. We also have some accessibility software and equipment available on level 2 (the top floor). Visit our disability and inclusion page for more details.

If you have any concerns about accessibility during your visit to the library, or if you need any additional support, please find a member of staff or contact us.
