Can I borrow artefacts when the library is unstaffed?

Yes, you can!
Each box has a white laminated sheet listing its contents. First, check if all items are there. If anything is missing, leave the box on the Service Desk with a note containing your Newman email address. If everything is there, click 'Borrow' on the self service machine and scan your student card. Place the white laminated sheet on the kiosk pad and the screen should show a green item description. The artefact box is now on your account.
