What help can I get from an Academic Service Librarian?
Answer
Our Academic Service Librarians (ASLs) are information experts who can help you with:
- Finding and evaluating information for your assignments
- Using books, e-books and journal articles as well as internet resources in your assignments
- Skills for using Library Search and specialist research databases, including AI research tools
- Referencing and using the Newman Harvard referencing style
The ASLs run library workshops throughout the year. You can also book appointments for one-to-one support from a Librarian. Each subject has a specialist Academic Service Librarian that you can book an appointment with. See our guidance on how to book an appointment.
