What is the John Henry Newman collection?

Answer

The John Henry Newman collection on level 1 is a reference collection of works relating in some way to Saint John Henry Newman. Some are his own works, including letters, diaries, essays and sermons, and others are works by the Oxford Movement.

There are also other sources ranging from more modern theology texts to writings of the early church fathers.

The John Henry Newman collection is mostly reference only. This means that you can't borrow or take those items away, but you are welcome to use them in the Library or photocopy or scan extracts for your own use and research.
