What is the Local History collection?

The Local History Collection on level 2 of the library is a reference collection of books, pamphlets, photographs, recordings, maps, and newspaper microfilms related to our local area and the wider West Midlands area as well.
Not all items in this collection can be borrowed. but you are welcome to use them in the library. They are a great resource for exploring Birmingham history in a more detailed, personal way.
