Can I take books out for someone else?

Answer

You should not borrow books on somebody else’s behalf or ask somebody to borrow books on your behalf. If a book is on your account, it is your responsibility if the book is late, lost, or damaged. Even if you borrowed it for somebody else, you will be held responsible for any replacement costs.
