What is the Dewey Decimal system?
Answer
The Dewey Decimal System is how all the physical resources are categorised within the Library. All resources are grouped by subject. Every resource is assigned a number between 001 and 999.
When using Library Search, make a note of the resource's number e.g. Newman library level 2, 301.1 LYM. Use this number to navigate the labelled bookshelves within the library and find your resource.
