What should I include in my in-text citation?
Answer
In-text citations follow the same rules for virtually all sources that you will use. They will usually have 3 parts:
- The family names of the author/s OR the name of the organisation responsible for the source
- The year the source was published
- The page number where the idea you are citing can be found
Put in-text citations right next to the point in your writing that the source is referred to. Your in-text citation should be in round brackets, with each part separated by a comma, e.g.:
