How do I filter my search results on library search?

Answer

Searching for books and print journals

When you search for a book using Library Search, you can use the ‘filter’ options on the left hand side to focus the search and remove less relevant results.

The options include selecting only ebooks by ticking ‘ebook’, choosing a ‘topic’ or ‘author', or choosing which range of years to search.

Searching for ejournals

If you are searching the ejournal collection, you can filter the results in the same way as above using the options on the left hand side.

We don’t always have access to the full text of all of the results in our ejournal collection. To filter out results that we don’t have access to, click ‘full text’ on the left hand side under 'content type.
