Where should I work in the library?

Answer

We have three different zones in the library:

  • Learning Zone
  • Quiet Zone
  • Silent Zone

If you want to work as a group, have a discussion, or practice presentations, you should work in a learning zone. These are our bookable pods and the whole of level 1 (the middle floor – where the main entrance is) and level 0 (the bottom floor).

If you want to work quietly, but may need to talk a little bit with others, you could work in the quiet study zones. This is level 2 (the top floor).

If you want to work in complete silence, with no distractions and as little noise as possible, you should work in our silent study zones. These are the library training room on level 2 or the area past the wellbeing and local history section on the end of level 2.

For more information about our different zones, please visit our zones page.
