How do I cite something that I've found in another source?

For example, I'm reading a book by Dwivedi and he's quoted a study by Trawick that I want to use.

Answer

This type of referencing is called secondary referencing.

You can find guidance on how to use secondary referencing in your in-text citations in the in-text citations: guide and examples section of the Newman referencing guide.

You can find guidance on how to complete your reference list entry for secondary references in the reference lists: guide and examples under the heading "presenting your full reference lists".
