There is no date / title / author's name on this source, can I still reference it?
Answer
You can get help on referencing sources with missing details (such as dates, titles or authors' names) in the in-text citations: guide and examples section of the Newman referencing guide.
Always try and use the most relevant, authoritative and up-to-date information for your university assignments, and think carefully before including sources with missing details. Sometimes it will be clearly valuable or expected for you to use sources like this; but if you are in doubt, your tutor or an Academic Service Librarian may be able to help you.
You could try asking on Library Chat, which will pop up on the Library website when someone is available, or emailing library-enquiries@newman.ac.uk. Please include a link or description of the source you're unsure about when you get in touch, so we can give you the best advice.
