Can I reference Wikipedia and other wiki sites?

You can reference some websites in your work, but we wouldn’t recommend referencing Wikipedia or other crowd-sourced wiki sites, as the information may not be reliable. It’s always much better to use academic sources or a more official website.
However, wiki sites with reference lists can be useful! If you find some information on a wiki site that you want to include in your work, you could try to find the relevant source in the reference list and use that instead.
