How do I add a bibliography using the Zotero Word add-on?

Answer

Make sure you have added all your in-text citations using the Zotero Word add-on. 

Click the Zotero tab in Word and click ‘Add/Edit Bibliography’. The add-on will immediately create and add the bibliography to the word document. 

Any further in-text citations you add into your essay will be automatically added to your bibliography.

You should always ‘unlink citations’ before you submit an assignment with Zotero generated references. This ensures that any edits you have made to references in the Word document are preserved. 

Please note that after you unlink citations, any in-text citations added will not automatically create a bibliographic reference.
